Browser Wars...

I don't normally advocate a particular web browser for sites because in the past performance hasn't been an issue. However......with that said I retract my lack of advocation.

I always test my sites with multiple browsers and today, while entering my flights, I realized that Google Chrome is WAY faster.  It draws the forms faster, shows the stats faster. I don't know why but it does.

So if you feel the site is slow, give Google Chrome a shot and see what you think.

The site was down for about an hour today. My apologies if you were trying to access it. My hosting provider had some technical difficulties. No data was lost.

If you noticed the main page loading slow... this has been fixed.  A little database optimization goes a long way for performance!
 

Lots of little updates

There have been lots of little updates.  You'll notice new stats boxes on the right.  Added some new items to the flight logs. Aircraft status are now more than just active/inactive.  You can mark your aircraft for a repair status too.

Made a few updates to the pick lists for the logs.  More flight issues to choose from and more.

If you're a plane pilot and need something added that is more appropriate please let me know.  I'll be starting to fly planes later this year so I really haven't used the log for planes yet.
